YOU VS EVERYBODY is a podcast full of creative challenges for anyone who wants to listen or play along. Everything starts with a prompt and ends with a story. Sometimes it's written. Sometimes it's spoken. Sometimes it's made out of music or sound. Sometimes there's a winner, and sometimes we just want to be entertained. Each week, we alternate between competition and community. On You VS episodes, we pick our finalists and everybody listening becomes the judge. On Everybody episodes, we give the community the floor to share stories, gossip, and settle debates.

Season One Prompts
Join the YVE casts & crew list
Join our Cast & Crew List and tell us what you’d like to do. When an episode needs your particular skills, we’ll send you the assignment, deadline, and details. You can say yes if you’re available or pass if you’re not.
Voice Actors: Perform selected stories and help turn writers’ submissions into fully produced audio pieces. Experience is great but not required. A microphone setup is required.Show Readers: Introduce the show, present submissions, read prompts or deliver the credits. These are lower-pressure roles, and a phone recording is completely fine.Sound Designers and Audio Engineers: If you want more experience than just submitting to our sound design prompts, you can build the sonic world of each story of an episode. This is a chance to experiment, receive a podcast credit, and add finished work to your portfolio.Music Composers/Producers:
If you want more experience than just submitting to our music prompts, go ahead and score the music for every story in an episode. This is a chance to experiment, receive a podcast credit, and add finished work to your portfolio.Joining the list does not obligate you to accept anything. It simply means we can contact you when the right opportunity comes along.
